Quando chegámos a Burgos estacionámos junto a este mercado de rua que aproveitámos para o visitar.
No meio deste mercado de rua deparamos com este emblemático e vanguardista monumento em aço inoxidável dedicado às Américas, está localizado no meio do Paseo del Empecinado. Simboliza uma pomba que une os povos irmãos da Espanha e da América. A escultura criada por um dos escultores mais relevantes do século XX, o valenciano Andreu Alfaro (1929 – 2012).
Um pequeno passeio para descomprimir por estas belas ruas pedestres que vão dar ao centro histórico de Burgos e em que o Rio Arlanzón corre a seu lado.
